For those who want the GLC in AMG form but with a little bit less power than the 63 variants, Mercedes offers the GLC 43 both in normal body style and coupe variants. They have now received updates in line with the rest of the family members.
The styling updates are of course, similar to its bigger siblings. As standard, the cars ride on 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels, with a selection of five further rim variants, ranging from 19- to 21-inches as options.

Other features and technologies include the MBUX infotainment system with a 12.3-inch instrument cluster on the left and a 10.25-inch touchscreen display on the right, AMG speed-sensitive steering, and AMG Ride Control+ adaptive dampers.
Powering both the cars is a 3.0-litre (2996 cc) V6 biturbo petrol engine that develops 287 kW (390 hp) between 5,500-6,000 rpm and 520 Nm (383 lb-ft) of torque between 2,500-4,500 rpm. Compared to the outgoing model, the power is up by 17 kW (23 hp).
The AMG Speedshift TCT (Torque-Clutch Transmission) 9-speed automatic transmission sends power to all four wheels via 4Matic AWD system with rear-biased torque distribution (31 to 69%). Both cars are claimed to accelerate from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.9 seconds and on to a top speed of 250 km/h (155 mph), which is electronically limited.

The driver gets to play with Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+, and Individual modes which modify key parameters, such as the engine response, transmission, suspension and steering. There are sub-modes too which alter the control threshold of the ESP.
