Hyundai might be late to the sub-4m SUV party but seems to have arrived with an impressive new product. The Venue is now in the Indian market; with (introductory) prices starting at Rs 6.50 lakh ex-showroom, Pan India. Variant wise introductory ex-showroom prices below –

As we can understand from the table above, the SX+ becomes the top-end trim when it comes to the dual-clutch automatic variants. Those who want a dual-tone paint scheme will have to pay Rs 15,000 extra.
Lava Orange dual tone
Exterior features include a dark chrome front grille, projector headlamps, automatic headlamp function, LED DRLs, cornering lamps, projector fog lamps, ORVM-integrated turn signals, 16-inch Diamond Cut alloy wheels, shark fin antenna, and LED tail lamps.
Metal finish door handles are standard
The interior comes with an all-black theme as standard, while there are dual-tone themes for those who opt for dual-tone exterior paint options. Inside, features depending on the trim include leatherette-fabric combo seat upholstery, height-adjustable driver seat, adjustment for front-seat headrests, 8-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Voice Recognition, Hyundai BlueLink connected car technology, Arkamys Sound, steering mounted controls, tilt-adjustable steering, driver power window auto up/down with safety, auto AC, cooled glovebox, wireless phone charging, rear AC vents, USB charger, cruise control, and lane change indicator.

60:40 split rear seat is exclusive to SX(O) trim
An electric sunroof is standard on SX and SX(O) trims. Moving on to the safety section, the Venue comes with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX mounts, seat belt pretensioners, driver & passenger seat belt reminder, day & night IRVM, reverse parking sensors, speed sensing auto door lock and impact sensing auto door unlock features as standard across all variants. More safety features include side & curtain airbags, ESC, Vehicle Stability Management, Hill Assist Control, IRVM with Telematics switches (SOS, RSA & BlueLink), rear camera with dynamic guidelines, rear defogger with timer, and a Smart Key. Powertrains
As we saw in the table above, the Venue offers three engines in India. The 1.2-litre (1,197 cc) 4-cylinder Kappa petrol engine produces 83 hp at 6,000 rpm and 115 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm, paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The diesel is a 1.4-litre (1,396 cc) 4-cylinder U2 CRDi unit, producing 90 hp at 4,000 rpm and 220 Nm of torque between 1,500-2,750 rpm, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission.
March 2020 update: the 1.4L diesel engine has been replaced with a 1.5L unit.
For driving enthusiasts, Hyundai is offering a 1.0-litre (998 cc) 3-cylinder turbocharged Kappa petrol engine that is tuned to produce 120 hp at 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm of torque between 1,500-4,000 rpm, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
As you might have guessed, the Hyundai Venue is a front-wheel-drive SUV.

As for exterior colors, there are 7 single tone and 3 dual-tone options – Polar White, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Denim Blue, Lava Orange, Stardust, Deep Forest, Denim Blue with Polar White Roof, Polar White with Phantom Black Roof, and Lava Orange with Phantom Black Roof.
