The design updates are rather subtle, which includes black finished headlamps with re-positioned DRLs, piano black front grille with black chrome inserts, metallic grey chin plate on the bumper, side cladding, clear-lens tail lamps, and X-shaped spare wheel cover.
Compared to the outgoing model, the interior layout too remains largely unchanged. Depending on the trim, the feature list includes a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, GPS navigation, 4 speakers, steering mounted audio & phone controls, driver seat height adjustment, 1st & 2nd-row mobile charging points, rear defogger, and reverse parking camera.
Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, Cornering Brake Control, ISOFIX mounts, seat belt reminder lamp, and auto door lock while driving, as standard across all variants.
The TUV300 continues to be powered by a 1,493 cc 3-cylinder mHAWK100 diesel engine that produces 75.3 kW (102 metric hp) at 3,750 rpm and 240 Nm (177 lb-ft) of torque between 1,600-2,800 rpm. A 5-speed manual transmission sends power to the rear wheels.
Except for the base model, the TUV300 features “micro hybrid” technology, i.e., engine start/stop feature. ECO mode that adjusts engine mapping for better fuel efficiency is standard across all variants.
