Volkswagen India has launched the Connect Edition Polo, Ameo and Vento, with no additional cost. The prices for Polo range from Rs 5.55 – 9.39 lakh, Rs 5.65 – 9.99 lakh for the Ameo, and Rs 8.38 – 14.02 lakh for the Vento.
The Connect Edition comes with a plug-and-play dongle connected to the on-board diagnostics (OBD) port of the car. Once connected with a smartphone via Bluetooth, customers can experience features such as trip tracking, fuel cost monitoring, driving behaviour and more.
The Volkswagen Connect app is available for both Android and iOS platforms. The aforementioned driving behaviour feature gives individual scores for acceleration, braking, engine speed and engine temperature, for every trip, which helps users to improve their driving efficiency by altering their driving style.
The app also has more features such as Location sharing, SOS call, and booking a service appointment.
The Connect Edition cars are available in a new Lapiz Blue body colour. Other highlights include 16-inch Portago Gray alloy wheels, carbon finish ORVMs, chrome Connect badge on the fender, side foils, leatherette seat covers, chequered seat fabrics (for Polo GT), rear USB port, and aluminium pedals. The Vento gets dual front side airbags and body coloured rear spoiler too.
