Audi India had launched the second generation Q5 only in diesel earlier this year. Today, the company has launched the petrol variant, with prices starting at Rs 55,27,000 ex-showroom, Pan India.

The 2.0-litre (1984 cc) TFSI petrol engine develops 252 hp @ 5000-6000 rpm and 370 Nm of torque @ 1600-4500 rpm, paired to a 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission that sends power to the all four wheels via quattro AWD system.
This model can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and on to a top speed of 237 km/h.
Equipment list includes LED headlamps, dynamic turn signals at rear, 3-zone electronic climate control, electrically adjustable front seats, MMI Radio Plus, 8-speaker audio system, cruise control, parking aid plus, airbags, TPMS and more.
Rahil Ansari, head of Audi India, said – “In line with our petrol strategy, we clearly want to increase the contribution of petrol variants in our total sales and with the launch of the Audi Q5 45 TFSI, our entire Q range is now available with petrol options.”
“The Audi Q5 is one of the best-selling models in its class in India, and with the launch of the petrol variant, the model will further strengthen its foothold in the Indian market,” he added.
Ansari claimed that they’ve received over 500 bookings for the new Q5 TDI (diesel) within a month of its launch in India, a testimony to its leadership position in the segment.
