Mahindra has launched the KUV100 Trip, aimed at fleet operators, priced at Rs 5.16 lakh for Bi-Fuel (petrol & CNG) and Rs 5.42 lakh for the diesel variant. Both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
Similar to most taxi variants today, the KUV100 Trip is based on the pre-facelift version and offers basic features such as manual AC and electric power steering.
The petrol/CNG is a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine, which develops 82 hp at 5,500 rpm and 115 Nm of torque between 3,500-3,600 rpm. The diesel is a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder unit as well, producing 77 hp at 3,750 rpm and 190 Nm of torque between 1,750-2,250 rpm. Both engines are paired with a 5-speed manual transmission sending power to the front wheels.
