Volkswagen has added ‘Vento Sport’ to the Vento line up featuring visual upgrades. The diesel with 5-speed manual transmission is priced at Rs 12.92 lakh, while the DSG automatic gets a price tag of Rs 14.17 lakh ex-showroom, Pan India.
The changes include gloss black roof, carbon fibre finish on the ORVMs, 16-inch Portago Alloys, black rear spoiler, and ‘Sport’ badge on the front fenders. The car also features full LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, suggesting that the Sport is based on the top-spec Vento Highline Plus.
No mechanical changes. The Vento is offered with 3 powertrains. The 1.2L TSI petrol with an output of 105 PS and 174 Nm of torque paired to a 7-speed DSG, the 1.5L TDI diesel with an output of 110 PS and 250 Nm of torque paired to a 5-speed manual or 7-speed DSG, and the 1.6L MPI petrol with an output of 105 PS and 153 Nm of torque paired to a 5-speed manual.
