Mahindra’s TUV 300 might not have impressed many, but its convertible SUV concept ‘Stinger’ did manage to impress a lot of shutterbugs at the Auto Expo 2018.
The exteriors are a typical TUV boxy looks, not something that blows your mind, but the LED lighting all around add to the vehicle’s contemporary appeal.
It’s the interiors which really impresses you with its funky styling. It has got the full digital instrument cluster, a portrait style touchscreen infotainment system, which appears to be an iPad. Not sure if that’s how the production version is going to be. There is also another touchscreen just ahead of the gear knob displaying the different drive modes.
The digital temperature readouts has been integrated into the air vents, which makes it another cool feature of the interiors.
As for the other details, Mahindra said that the Stinger delivers 140 hp and 320 Nm of torque from the mHawk family of engines, which appears to be a 2.2-litre petrol engine that powers the XUV 500.
