Ford has launched the EcoSport Storm in Brazil, priced at R$ 99,990 (Rs 20 lakh). Along with the visual enhancements and added features, the EcoSport Storm gets 4WD hardware as well.
The visual upgrades begin with the bold ‘Storm’ embossed grille and silver skid plates at the front. On the side profile, the wheel arches get plastic cladding as well. The SUV gets some tasteful black treatment, including on the ORVMs and roof rails. The rear-end of the vehicle gets Storm branding on the spare wheel cover and a 4WD badge.
Wheels are 17-inch ‘Dark London Gray’ alloys.
Interiors follow an all-black theme with some tasteful body-colored accents. The black leather seats get Satin Orange contrast stitching. As for the sunroof, it is offered even in the regular EcoSport in Brazil.
Powering the EcoSport Storm is a 2.0L Flexfuel engine (Gasoline/Ethanol), producing 170 hp and 202 Nm with Gasoline, and 176 hp and 221 Nm with Ethanol. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels.
