Skoda has updated the Rapid in India with 4 airbags. The car was initially launched back in November 2016 with two front airbags as standard across all variants.
Now, the top-spec Style trim gets additional front side airbags. Other safety kit includes ABS (standard), Hill Hold Control (automatic only), ESC (diesel automatic only), rear parking sensors, auto dimming IRVM, front and rear fog lamps, and rear defogger with timer.
The car is offered with 1.6 petrol or a 1.5 turbo diesel. Transmission options are 5-Speed manual or a 6-Speed auto for petrol, and the diesel can be had with 5-Speed manual or a 7-Speed DSG.
