The vehicle measures 4,329 mm in length, 1,813 mm in width and 1,613 mm in height, making it longer than the Duster while being narrow and shorter. As for the powertrains, the Captur will borrow the same 1.5-litre petrol and diesel units from the Duster. The diesel makes 110 PS (108 bhp) and 245 Nm (181 lb-ft) of torque, while the petrol makes 106 PS (104 bhp) and 142 Nm (105 lb-ft) of torque. The diesel is paired with a 6-speed manual while the petrol comes with a 5-speed manual, and the power is sent to the front wheels.
No word about introducing an AWD variant yet. A CVT or an AMT could be offered as an option for the petrol at a later date.
