Camouflaged new cars usually pose for spy photographers who then distribute them to the media houses in exchange of some dough. These days, however, they pose for the official photographers making the spies and carparazzis scream “They Took Our Jobs!”
Jokes aside, BMW’s new compact crossover X2 has made a camouflaged appearance ahead of its expected debut next month. The X2 is expected to be based on the UKL platform (UKL2) which also underpins the X1. The X2 will come with front wheel drive configuration as standard, and an optional xDrive (AWD).
Unveiled as a concept at the Paris Motor Show last year, the production model retains the basic shape and most of the design cues. Take a look at the bumper for example, the triangular shape which houses the fog lamp and air intakes.
X2 is the perfect Sports Activity Coupé for young, extrovert and active individuals, said BMW.
