As you might know, the 478 kW (650 metric hp) Hyundai Ioniq 5 N looks stunning in its stock form; it boasts a sporty body kit, a different set of 21-inch wheels, and of course, red accents. But what if someone wanted a more meaner look? Well, that’s what the Hyundai NPX1 concept is all about. The concept features more N Performance Parts—which Hyundai plans to offer to customers in the near future.
The example shown here is the Ioniq 5 N; meaning, the Ioniq 5 N has been taken as a base and has been decorated with elements such as a carbon front splitter, side skirts, a rear diffuser, a rear wing spoiler, lightweight hybrid carbon wheels, high-performance brake pads and lowering springs.
Inside, this special Ioniq 5 N has been upgraded with Alcantara material and racing bucket seats. And, that’s pretty much it for now I guess. I mean, as mentioned, the NPX1 concept is all about the extra N Performance Parts customers can purchase in the near future. However, Hyundai said that it is also developing software customization such as sound and vehicle calibration via OTA updates.
