I know, it has been a ridiculously long wait, but finally, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-Door prices are officially out. As you probably know, the Jimny 5-Door is gonna be sold via Maruti Suzuki’s NEXA retail chain, and will be available in two trims, with prices starting at INR 12.74 lakh, ex-showroom, PAN India.
Variant | MT | AT |
Zeta | INR 12,74,000 | INR 13,94,000 |
Alpha | INR 13,69,000 | INR 14,89,000 |
Alpha dual-tone | INR 13,85,000 | INR 15,05,000 |
The Jimny is gonna be available on all-inclusive monthly subscription plans as well, with prices starting from INR 33,550 (depends on variants and subscription duration).
While these prices significantly undercut Mahindra Thar (4WD) prices which currently range between INR 13.87 lakh to INR 20.20 lakh (ex-showroom) in Delhi, the Jimny’s 1.5L petrol engine loses significance in comparison with the mStallion 150 engine’s figures. Also, the Thar is available either with a hard-top or a convertible, while the Jimny offers two extra doors and supposedly more practicality. So, it really comes down to exactly what type of lifestyle off-roader you’re looking for; in simple terms, personal preference.
But anyway, read more about the 5-door Jimny here.
