DS Automobiles has launched the DS 4 and DS 7 Esprit De Voyage collection, with prices in France starting at €44,550 and €52,500, respectively. Both models feature visual enhancements inspired by the world of fashion and travel.
On the exterior, both models feature laser-engraved graphics on the mirror caps that are supposed to symbolize movement, aerodynamics, travel..and those sort of things. You also get exclusive 19-inch ‘Cannes’ rims on the DS 4 and exclusive 19-inch ‘Oyama’ rims on the DS 7, which I think look pretty cool. The DS 7 is also decorated with a ‘Spirit of Travel’ badge on the lower part of the front doors; yup, that’s what the “Esprit De Voyage” means.
The DS 4 offers six body colors: Lacquered Grey, Platinum Grey, Crystal Pearl, Perla Nera Black, Pearl White and Velvet Red; the five colors can be combined with a Perla Nera Black roof. You also get six options for DS 7: Pearl White, Crystal Pearl, Lacquered Grey, Platinum Grey, Perla Nera Black and Sapphire Blue, but no dual-tone scheme here.
On the inside, as you can probably tell, you get ‘Spirit of Travel’ door sills and the aforementioned graphic on the Nappa leather-wrapped dashboard. The Granite Gray interior of the DS 4 is matched with Paloma Gray Pebble grained leather seats, while the DS 7 seats are upholstered in Pearl Gray grained leather.
The DS 4 Esprit De Voyage is offered in the plug-in hybrid E-Tense 225 version, as well as with PureTech 130 petrol and BlueHDi 130 diesel engines. The DS 7 is offered in E-Tense 225 and E-Tense 4×4 300 plug-in hybrid versions, as well as with a BlueHDi 130 Diesel engine.
