BMW Motorrad launched the R nineT 100 Years and R18 100 Years in India, priced at INR 24,00,000 and INR 25,90,000, respectively. Both prices are ex-showroom, Pan India. Both models celebrate the Motorrad brand’s 100-year anniversary and are limited to 1,923 units each.
The R nineT 100 Years gets retro-styled contrasting chrome surfaces on its panels outlined with white double-lining. The front mudguard also features this white double-lining. The seat has a two-tone upholstery of black/oxblood for added drama. Other highlights include black fork tubes; black air intake snorkel; 719 Classic wheels with black anodized rim rings; Option 719 Shadow milled parts (cylinder head covers, engine housing covers, seat holders and oil filler plug), and Option 719 Shadow II milled parts (adjustable hand levers and footrests, expansion tank covers and handlebar end mirrors).
Adaptive turning light; Comfort Package with heated grips; cruise control, and Driving Modes Pro round off the extensive equipment of the special edition.
The R18 100 Years too gets a similar treatment of contrasting chrome surfaces against a black paint; seat upholstered in a two-tone combo of black/oxblood; various other chrome elements, and chromed Akrapovič silencers. Headlight Pro with adaptive turning light, reversing aid, electronic cruise control and heated grips are included too.
