The Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS has received a facelift for 2023 and is all set to go on sale in the coming days. Pre-launch bookings are open both online and at authorized Hyundai dealerships across India for INR 11,000.
The 2023 Grand i10 NIOS sports a new front fascia with a redesigned front bumper; it appears that the fog lights have been let go and taking their place are new LED daytime running lights. The headlights remain unchanged. On the side, you got a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels, while at the rear, there are new taillights and a full-width connecting bar. In addition to 6 monotone exterior colors, you get two dual-tone options: Spark Green (with black roof and pillars) and Polar White (with black roof and pillars).
On the inside, depending on the trim/choice, you get a grey dual-tone theme or black theme with spark green inserts or black theme with red inserts. Other than that, you get a new instrument cluster with a 3.5-inch MID as opposed to the outgoing model‘s 5.4-inch digital speedometer-MID. The rest of the features include an 8.0-inch touchscreen; wireless smartphone charging; auto AC; rear AC vents; driver seat height adjustment; front USB ports, and more.
As for safety, depending on the trim, you get automatic headlights, airbags (front, side and curtain), front seat belt reminder, ABS + EBD, ESC, hill-start assist, TPMS, rear defogger, and more.
Moving on to the juicy bits of the story, the 2023 Grand i10 NIOS is powered by a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder Kappa petrol engine. When supplied with petrol, it offers 61 kW (83 metric hp) and 114 Nm (84 lb-ft) of torque. With CNG, the output figures are 51 kW (69 metric hp) and 95 Nm (70 lb-ft) of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual or an AMT.
