Manhart MH GTR II debuts with 700+ horses

As you know, the BMW M4 comes in a multitude of flavors to cater to a multitude of people with different requirements. Some are perfectly satisfied with the “regular” M4 Competition with 375 kW (510 metric hp) while some crave more and go for the M4 CSL with 404.5 kW (550 metric hp). There’s also the M4 GT4 track toy with the same output figures as the CSL but offers weight benefits over the road car. Of course, there’ll always be some people who can never be satisfied, and for those, there’s the new 3.0 CSL with 412 kW (560 metric hp). But what will you do if you’re still not satisfied? Where will you go? Well, apparently, you gotta reach out to Manhart.

So Manhart takes the M4 CSL and converts it into this crazy contraption called the Manhart MH GTR II—limited to 1,000 units. Visually, on the exterior, the car is decorated with extra carbon fibre aero bits such as a spoiler and side aero flicks at the front; fender side louvers; side skirts; two-piece rear side louvers; a diffuser; a two-piece rear skirt add-on, and a three-piece rear spoiler. The car rides on 20-inch forged alloy wheels with height-adjustable H&R coil springs. The example shown here wears orangish-red pinstripes, but I guess you can bespoke the colors.

For the interior, you can have Manhart floor mats; Schroth 4-point racing harnesses with rear attachment points to a Clubsport roll cage, and a carbon fibre helmet.

Moving on to the juicy bits of the story, the S58 engine offers 516 kW (702 metric hp) and 880 Nm (649 lb-ft) of torque, thanks to MHtronik auxiliary control unit and a stainless steel exhaust system (available with carbon or ceramic coating). The exhaust system is connected to Manhart downpipes either without catalytic converters or with 300-cell GESI catalytic converters. However, due to the lack of TÜV approval, both variants are intended exclusively for export, as are the Manhart OPF Delete replacement pipes with 200-cell HJS catalytic converters and the Manhart OPF/GPF Deleter.
