Abarth has updated its 595 and 695 hot hatches for 2023 with a new Orange Racing livery and two new packs. Buyers get to choose from base, Turismo and Competizione flavors. Apparently, the Orange Racing livery was created from the combination of the brand’s iconic colors of yellow and red; more specifically, it’s a homage to the historic Fiat 131 Racing Volumetrico Abarth.
The ‘Style’ pack on the Turismo trim comes with 17-inch Turismo alloy wheels and black leather seats with diamond stitching, while the ‘Competition’ pack on the Competizione trim boasts 17-inch Competizione alloy wheels and Sabelt Carbon seats. You also get the ‘Tech’ pack that offers a 7-inch touchscreen with navigation, and an automatic climate control system. The ‘Comfort’ pack gets you Xenon headlights and Beats audio system.
Everything else is gonna remain the same, of course. Both models are powered by a 1.4-litre (1368 cc) 4-cylinder T-JET petrol engine. In the 595, it offers 121 kW (164 metric hp) and 230 Nm (170 lb-ft), while the 695 boasts 132 kW (180 metric hp) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft). The engine can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. Both models feature KONI suspension with Frequency Selective damping (FSD) valves.
