Jeep India is on a tour across the country showcasing the Meridian‘s off-roading capabilities, and this weekend it was the Bengaluru edition where the enthusiasts and prospects got to taste (or test, if you prefer) what the SUV can do where the road ends. A specially-prepped location near the airport included challenges such as steep hill ascent & descent, a giant see-saw, wheel articulation maneuvers, and a few more. Watch the video embedded above.
The Meridian in India is offered with a 125 kW (170 metric hp) 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine that can be paired with either a 9-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual gearbox. Four-wheel-drive is optionally available with the 9-speed automatic. The 4WD variant comes with a Low range button for serious off-roading such as those demonstrated in the video above.
