The package will make its public debut during the Monterey Car Week
Lucid is on cloud nine with all the positive reviews the Air sedan has got, and rightfully so. The Air truly appears to be a fantastic product, and I’m hoping to get behind the wheel when I visit the U.S. sometime next year. But anyway, Lucid is offering a ‘Stealth Look’ optional package for the Air, priced at US$ 6,000, and will be available sometime in Q1 2023.
However, potential buyers can try out the package at Lucid’s online configurator from Wednesday (August 10, 2022). The Stealth Look will be available on Air Touring, Air Grand Touring and Air Grand Touring Performance trims, which means the base Air Pure trim is doomed to remain a pure base trim, but I guess that’s the idea.
So, what’s this Stealth Look all about? Well, as the name suggests, it adds dark elements to the exterior of the vehicle; a total of 35 components, to be precise. These would include the mirror caps; front nose blade; cantrails framing the glass canopy roof; lower body elements; headlight & taillight surrounds, and of course, the wheels. Depending on the trim, you either get 20-inch Aero Lite Stealth wheels with satin black inserts, or 21-inch Aero Sport Stealth wheels—also with satin black inserts.
Stealth Look can be paired with the full palette of exterior colors: Stellar White, Infinite Black, Cosmos Silver, Quantum Grey and Zenith Red.
