The Ferrari Portofino Modiception

The Ferrari Portofino Modificata is already a modified version of the Portofino; do you really need to modify it again? Well, as you probably know, tuners like Novitec believe so. And so, the Portofino Modificata, or Portofino M for short, gets naked carbon aero elements and additional power & torque upgrades.

These naked carbon bits include bumper side intake inserts; a front spoiler; surrounds for the hood outlets; mirror caps; inserts for the side air outlets in the front fenders; rocker panels, and a rear lip spoiler. Rounding off the looks are bespoke forged wheels from Vossen, measuring 21-inch at the front and 22-inch at the rear. Buyers can go for Novitec sport springs—which lower the ride height by 35 mm; a front lift system is also available—which raises the front by 40 mm to help clear speed bumps. The ride height returns to the default setting automatically upon reaching 80 km/h (50 mph) speed.

As for performance upgrades, Novitec offers N-Tronic plug-and-play modules which introduce new maps for injection, boost pressure and ignition control into the electronic engine management system. The top-spec module comes with an additional installation of fully thermally insulated 100-cell sports catalysts, bumping the power output by 62 kW (84 hp) to 518 kW (704 metric hp), while the peak torque is gonna be 882 Nm (650.5 lb-ft), a significant upgrade from the stock 760 Nm (560.5 lb-ft).

Novitec claims a 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time of 3.15 seconds (stock: 3.45 seconds) and a top speed of 325 km/h (202 mph) (stock: 320 km/h).
