After the M340i 50 Jahre M Edition, 6 Series 50 Jahre M Edition, and 5 Series 50 Jahre M Edition, BMW has now launched the M4 Competition Coupé 50 Jahre M Edition in India, priced at INR 1,52,90,000, ex-showroom, Pan India. Compared with the regular M4 Competition Coupé, the special edition commands a premium of INR 9,00,000.
So then, what do we get for that extra premium? Well, you get special BMW 50 Jahre M badges and special M forged double-spoke-style wheels (19-inch at the front and 20-inch at the rear) finished in Orbit Grey or Gold Bronze. Buyers get to choose from two special paint options: Macao blue and Imola Red. The rest of the features are carried over from the regular model, including BMW Laser Light headlights, Adaptive M suspension, Active M Differential, M compound brakes, M Carbon Roof, and more. Inside, you get special 50 Jahre BMW M door sills, a special 50 Jahre BMW M plaque on the centre console, and special 50 Jahre BMW M stitching on the seat headrests.
There are not gonna be any other changes, obviously. The M4 Competition Coupé is powered by a 3.0-litre (2,993 cc) in-line 6-cylinder twin-turbo petrol engine that develops 375 kW (510 metric hp) at 6,250 rpm and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque between 2,750 and 5,500 rpm. The output is channeled to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox and xDrive AWD system.
