Order books are now open for the Mercedes-AMG EQE 53 4Matic+ in Europe, with prices in Germany starting at €109,777.50 (INR 87.73 lakh or US$ 110,266), which is €5,950 more than the EQE 43 4Matic. In France, you don’t get the 43 at the moment, but only 53, which starts at €124,100. In the UK, only the 53 is available and in two variants: EQE 53 Night Edition and EQE 53 Touring, both priced at £113,855.
The EQE 53 4Matic+ is an AWD sedan, with a motor on each axle, offering combined figures of up to 460 kW (625 metric hp) and 950 Nm (701 lb-ft) in Sport+. However, if you go for the €4,760 AMG Dynamic Plus package, you get up to 505 kW (686.5 metric hp) and 1,000 Nm (737.5 lb-ft) in Race Start mode. With at least 70% SoC, this model is claimed to sprint from 0-100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds and on to a top speed of 220 km/h (137 mph). With the aforementioned optional package, the numbers are 3.3 seconds and 240 km/h (149 mph), respectively. A 90.6 kWh battery pack is estimated to offer a range of up to 525 km (326 mi).
If you wanna spend more money (in Germany), you can pick the AMG ceramic composite brakes for €4,998. A panoramic sunroof is part of the €11,144.35 Premium Plus package.
