After the M340i 50 Jahre M Edition and the 6 Series 50 Jahre M Edition, BMW has now launched the 5 Series 50 Jahre M Edition in India, priced at INR 67,50,000, ex-showroom, Pan India.
The 5 Series 50 Jahre M Edition is based on the 530i M Sport variant, which means it carries over all the features of the 530i M Sport and gets a few more. These would include a high-gloss black kidney grille; 18-inch Jet Black alloy wheels; red black calipers; BMW Individual High-Gloss Shadow line contents, and special 50 years of M badges. Exterior paint options include M Carbon Black, Bernina Grey Amber Effect, Phytonic Blue and Alpine White.
The cabin is gonna feature Sensatec (synthetic leather) perforated upholstery in Cognac with contrast stitching. The rest of the features have been carried over from the regular 530i M Sport, including BMW Live Cockpit Professional, 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, electric sunroof, etc. Download the spec sheet here.
The 530i M Sport is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 185 kW (252 metric hp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels.
