That’s right! Porsche has officially entered the lucrative used luxury car business in India with the ‘Porsche Approved’ programme. After passing a rigorous 111-point inspection, every pre-owned Porsche will come with a 12-month warranty and 24-hour roadside assistance.
The 12-month warranty includes repairs to all vehicle components including labour charges, except consumables and wear & tear parts such as wiper blades, tyres, fluids and brake pads. While the term depends on the age of the vehicle, it mostly covers any Porsche that has not crossed 200,000 km (124,274 mi) and is up to 6 years old.
“This is an important step for Porsche India to extend our services into the pre-owned car segment, as it shows our commitment to customer satisfaction long after the car has been sold and even to customers who have never owned a new Porsche. Our goal is for every Porsche to maintain its high quality regardless of age as a token of our gratitude to our customers for their many years of loyalty and support,” says Manolito Vujicic, Porsche brand director in India.
So, how do you find a pre-owned Porsche? Well, via the Porsche India official website. Scroll down at the bottom where you’ll find a ‘Search Pre-Owned’ link—which will take you to the Porsche Finder portal. At the time of publishing this story, there were some MY 2021 911s, a MY 2022 Panamera, a couple of MY 2022 Cayennes and a couple of MY 2022 Macans listed for sale.
