The Euro-spec Citroën C3 Aircross (not to be confused with India-spec C3) has got a new Rip Curl special edition, available to order in select European markets from July 1, 2022, but will arrive at dealerships in September.
The 2022 C3 Aircross Rip Curl special edition features blue highlights inspired by the ocean and the world of surfing; these include bumper inserts and mirror caps. Buyers get to choose from four exterior body colors: Artense Grey, Platinum Grey, Perla Nera Black and Polar White, all of which can be combined with a contrast black roof. The special edition rides on Origami Black 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with black geometric decorations. Also, notice the Rip Curl badging on the lower part of the rear doors.
Inside, the 2022 C3 Aircross Rip Curl special edition features Advanced Comfort seats—decorated with “Hello Chinor” upholstery made from a blue-grey sportswear knit fabric; it is combined with a leather-effect Sapphire Blue plastic-coated fabric—inspired by the world of sport and boating, forming the upper part of the backrests and seat cushions. These cushions are enhanced with a new Bright Blue La Rochelle contrast stitching. Between the padded part of the backrest and its upper part, a heather-effect Tiki Brasilia strip, a black and white Polynesian tribal pattern, has been specially created for this special edition.
The dashboard features a grained Sapphire Blue strip, interspersed with mother-of-pearl for a metallic effect with reflections reminiscent of fine fish scales. No mechanical changes.
