After the G 63 Edition 55, GT Track Series, A 35 Edition 55 and CLA 35 Edition 55, the A 45 and CLA 45 also join Mercedes-AMG’s 55th-anniversary celebrations. The 45 Edition 55 models are available to order until December 2022. We only have the photos of the CLA 45 Edition 55, but as you might know, it’s gonna be the same exercise for every Edition 55 model.
Speaking of which, on the exterior, the CLA 45 Edition 55 gets AMG Aerodynamics package that comprises a slightly larger front splitter and additional flics, a rear bootlid spoiler, and a rear diffuser insert, all finished in high-gloss black. The AMG Night package and AMG Night package II elements are also included, which comprise the outer air intake inserts, side sill inserts, beltline strip, window line strip, and exterior mirror housings finished in high-gloss black. Tailpipe finishers in black chrome, grille louvres in black chrome, heat-insulating dark-tinted glass, and badges in high-gloss black are some of the other key features.
Also, notice the AMG decals on the side. Rounding off the exterior looks are 19‑inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheels painted in titanium grey with a high-sheen rim flange.
Inside, you get AMG Performance seats upholstered in a classic two-tone red-black leather; AMG Performance steering wheel in Dinamica microfibre with Edition 55 branding and black 12 o’clock marking; AMG door sills; dark brushed aluminium accents, and AMG floor mats with Edition 55 branding.
The CLA 45 packs a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine that pumps out 310 kW (421 metric hp) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque in the CLA 45 S 4Matic+ guise.
