2022 Kia Seltos and 2022 Kia Sonet launched

Kia India has updated its Seltos and Sonet SUVs for 2022, with ex-showroom prices starting at INR 10.19 lakh and INR 7.15 lakh, respectively. Variant-wise ex-showroom prices below:

So, what’s new in 2022 Seltos? Well, visually, nothing; it looks the same as it looked a year ago. According to Kia, the 2022 Seltos comes with 13 changes. But the significant changes are the addition of a 6-speed iMT (clutch pedal-less manual) option on the diesel engine and the availability of a 6-speed automatic on the mid-spec HTX diesel trim. It’s the same story with the Sonet; there are no visual changes. However, according to Kia, the crossover gets 9 new updates. The significant ones are the inclusion of 4 airbags (front and front-side) and TPMS as standard across all trims. The range-topping GT Line models continue to get 6 airbags.
