Following the launch of the X4 Black Shadow Edition last month, BMW India has now launched the X4 Silver Shadow Edition, priced at INR 71,90,000 for the X4 xDrive30i and INR 73,90,000 for the X4 xDrive30d. This version costs a bit more than the Black Shadow.
While the Black Shadow Edition embraces darkness, the Silver Shadow introduces a bit of bling with the kidney grille and grille nuggets in high gloss chrome finish. And unlike the Black Shadow which rides on black 20-inch wheels, the Silver Shadow rides on silver 20-inch wheels. As for body colors, buyers can choose from Alpine White, Phytonic Blue and Carbon Black.
Inside, the X4 Silver Shadow Edition features Vernasca leather upholstery in ‘Mocha’ (kinda chocolate brown) with a decorative stitching, and dark Aluminium Rhombicle accents as well.
No mechanical changes. The X4 xDrive30i is powered by a 2.0L 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 185 kW (252 metric hp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, while the X4 xDrive30d is powered by a 3.0L straight-six turbocharged diesel engine with 195 kW (265 metric hp) and 620 Nm (457 lb-ft) of torque. Both engines are coupled with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission and AWD system.
