BMW Motorrad India has launched the new F 900 XR in the country, priced at INR 12,30,000, ex-showroom, Pan India. The adventure sports tourer will be available as a completely built-up unit (CBU), with deliveries commencing in June 2022.
Key features include LED headlight, LED indicators, LED taillight, adjustable windshield, adjustable hand brake & clutch levers, a 12-volt socket, BMW Motorrad ABS, and anti-hopping clutch. Suspension duties are handled by a 43 mm upside-down telescopic fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear with spring pre-load and rebound adjustability. Dynamic ESA (electronic suspension adjustment) is optionally available, as are Riding modes Pro (including ABS Pro, DTC, MSR, DBC) and Headlight Pro (including adaptive curve light).
The F 900 XR continues to be powered by an 895 cc in-line two-cylinder engine, producing 77 kW (105 hp) at 8,500 rpm and 92 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The output figures remain unchanged compared with the outgoing model.
