As for other updates, standard equipment on Latitude LUX include a power liftgate, a 7-inch full-color TFT display, dual-zone climate control, auto-dimming rearview mirror, security alarm, universal garage door opener and a 115-volt power outlet. An 8.4-inch Uconnect 4C display and SiriusXM Radio come standard on all trims.
In the U.S. market, the 2022 Cherokee continues with a 3.2-litre Pentastar V6 naturally aspirated petrol engine with 202 kW (275 metric hp) and 324 Nm (239 lb-ft) of torque. A 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine is also available depending on the trim, with 201 kW (273 metric hp) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque.
Both engines are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. 4×4 models get rear-axle disconnect function to improve fuel efficiency.
