BMW has launched the second-gen M4 (G82) in India, available in a single M4 Competition Coupé M xDrive variant, priced at INR 1,43,90,000, ex-showroom, Pan India. The car is being imported to India as a completely built-up unit (CBU) and is available to order online at shop.bmw.in (depending on the dealer inventory). Orders can also be placed at authorized dealerships.
Key exterior features include Adaptive LED headlights, LED taillights, M forged wheels (19-inch front, 20-inch rear), BMW Individual High Gloss Shadow Line contents, and M compound brakes. Adaptive M suspension and Active M Differential are also standard. Standard exterior color options include Skyscraper Grey, Portimao Blue, Black Sapphire, Sao Paulo Yellow, Toronto Red and Alpine White. Optional finishes include Tanzanite Blue, Dravit Grey, Aventurine Red, Frozen Brilliant White, Frozen Portimao Blue, Frozen Orange, Frozen Black, and Frozen Deep Grey.
Inside, key features include M Sport seats, BMW Live Cockpit Professional (12.3-inch driver display and 10.25-inch touchscreen), a head-up display, 3-zone climate control, 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, a wireless smartphone charging pad, and more. Download the spec-sheet here.
The M4 Competition Coupé is powered by a 3.0-litre (2,993 cc) in-line 6-cylinder twin-turbo petrol engine that develops 375 kW (510 metric hp) at 6,250 rpm and 650 Nm (479 lb-ft) of torque between 2,750 and 5,500 rpm. The output is channeled to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic gearbox and xDrive AWD system. The official 0-100 km/h (62 mph) sprint time is 3.5 seconds.
