Besides the GRMN Yaris, Toyota’s 2022 Tokyo Auto Salon lineup includes the GR GT3 and bZ4X GR Sport concepts, because of course, you gotta show some concepts as well at auto shows.
It is unclear if Toyota intends to offer a 911 GT3 rival in the future with this GR GT3 concept, but it appears that the Gazoo Racing division just wants to know what people think of the idea before going any further. Notice that the rims are wrapped with slicks, suggesting that this is the hardcore, racing version of a potential road supercar.
As for the bZ4X GR Sport concept, well, if AMG can go all-electric, Toyota figured why not Gazoo Racing? And that’s how the concept was born, or at least that’s what I hope happened. The bZ4X is finished in matt black and rounded off with multi-spoke black wheels and sports seats. It probably also has a sporty suspension setup.
