As you might know, the side stand of a two-wheeler can be dangerous if you forget to retract while riding. Which is why certain two-wheelers come with a safety system that prevents the vehicle from not just moving but starting itself; if you have ridden a KTM for example, you know exactly what I’m talking about. But unfortunately, this young man’s motorcycle in Malaysia didn’t have that system. It appears that he forgot to retract the stand after starting, which caused the vehicle to crash on what appears to be a busy motorway on a wet, miserable day recently.
But thanks to his alertness and especially his lightning-fast reflexes, he managed to escape an approaching truck in the nick of time. Also, an important thing to notice is that his helmet saved him initially when he banged his head on the road upon crashing. Yup, believe it or not, the helmet saves lives when you wear it properly.
