The Ford Evos coupe-SUV which debuted at the 2021 Auto Shanghai in China earlier this year, is now on sale, with prices starting at RMB 225,800 (US$ 35,440 or INR 26.60 lakh).

The Evos is not a PHEV as previously thought, although Ford might launch one at a later date. It is powered by a 2.0-litre (1,999 cc) 4-cylinder EcoBoost petrol engine that pumps out 175 kW (238 metric hp) at 5,500 rpm and 376 Nm (277 lb-ft) of torque between 2,500 and 3,750 rpm. An 8-speed automatic gearbox drives the front wheels.
The crossover measures 4,920 mm long, 1,920 mm wide and 1,600 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,945 mm. Kerb weight ranges between 1,626 to 1,655 kg (3,585-3,649 lbs). Key features depending on the trim include LED headlights, 20-inch wheels, panoramic sunroof, 10-way electric driver’s seat, 8-way electric co-pilot seat, heating function for front & rear seats, dual-zone climate control, 27-inch 4K touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital driver display, wireless smartphone charging, B&O audio system, 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, Vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) communication system, and Ford Co-Pilot360 suite of safety and ADAS.
