Suzuki’s Indonesian division has revealed two riced-up versions of the Ertiga MPV called Ertiga SS and Ertiga SS FF. We are not sure what the ‘FF’ stands for, but we do know the full form of ‘SS’—which is ‘Suzuki Sport’. Why would anyone what to sportify an MPV, that too an Ertiga you ask? Well, that’s indeed a good question, but again, no idea.
As mentioned, the Ertiga Suzuki Sport comes in two flavours: SS and SS FF, with the latter sporting an exclusive two-tone paint scheme with subtle red accents. The SS on the other side offers multiple color options; the example here is almost completely drenched in black. But what is common between them is a sporty body kit that includes bumper extensions, rocker panels/side skirts, and a roof spoiler.
Inside, the riced-up Ertigas get wood inserts (most likely faux wood) on the dashboard, steering wheel and door cards. The Ertiga SS FF also gets red contrast stitching on the seats. The rest of the features will remain the same, obviously, including an 8-inch touchscreen and climate control.
The Ertiga in Indonesia is powered by a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that pumps out 77 kW (105 metric hp) and 138 Nm (102 lb-ft) of torque. The engine can be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission.
