Radford has revealed the cockpit of the Type 62-2, which showcases a tasteful mix of retro-modern elements. The company has partnered with Bremont to include a pair of analog dials—a stopwatch and a clock—on the dashboard.
There’s not gonna be a touchscreen, but a mount/dock so that you can use your smartphone itself for navigation. There’ll, of course, be exposed carbon fibre wherever possible, such as on the door cards and the centre console; notice the exposed mechanicals of the shifter. The steering wheel has also been decorated with carbon fibre. The bespoke, Lotus-branded bucket seats have a racing harness from Schroth Racing.
The subtle golden-yellow accents and contrast stitching suggests that we’re actually looking at the Type 62-2 John Player Special edition’s interior, but it’s not hard to imagine the “regular” Type 62-2 interior.
