BMW has launched the 5 Series Carbon Edition in India, available in the 530i M Sport variant, priced at INR 66,30,000, ex-showroom, Pan India. As the name suggests, the Carbon Edition is all about carbon fibre elements.
These would include the grille frame, front splitter, mirror caps, and a subtle boot lid spoiler. The car rides on 18-inch Jet Black alloy wheels. The body itself is finished in an exclusive Alpine White paint. The rest of the things remain as is, including the Sensatec (synthetic leather) upholstery in the cabin in Cognac and Black color combination; BMW Live Cockpit Professional, 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and many more good stuff.
The 530i is powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with 185 kW (252 metric hp) and 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque, paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
