Lexus has updated the RC F Fuji Speedway Edition for 2022 with a new exclusive color. Pricing has not yet been announced, but Lexus said that the 2022 models will arrive at the dealerships later this month.
Limited to 50 units, the 2022 RC F Fuji Speedway Edition will be available in an exclusive Electric Surge paint, which apparently is a Lexus-first unique blue paint with a semi-matte finish. Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, a titanium exhaust system, and carbon fibre aerodynamic elements such as a fixed rear wing and the hood, are also part of the package. The cockpit will feature black and blue Alcantara-trimmed seats, Alcantara accents on the shift knob and steering wheel, blue carbon fibre ornamentation, and scuff plates with serialized badging.
Buyers can go for a carbon fibre package that adds more carbon fibre elements, including roof, front lip spoiler, rear diffuser insert, rocker panel inserts; 19-inch matte black wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires; carbon fibre content inside; leather-trimmed heated and ventilated front seats; heated steering wheel, and parking assist.
The RC F is powered by a 5.0L naturally aspirated V8 that pumps out 352 kW (479 metric hp) and 535 Nm (395 lb-ft) of torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Fuji Speedway Edition is claimed to sprint from 0-60 mph (96.5 km/h) in 3.96 seconds (4.2 seconds for RC F).
The F-Adaptive Variable Suspension comes standard with linear-solenoid monotube shocks that are claimed to help reduce body roll and improve stability when cornering.
