The other day I read a funny comment on YouTube that said something like “Land Rover should make a two-door sports coupe”, in response to carmakers who were never into SUVs making one and riding high on sales figures as well. But the fact is, some brands were forced into making SUVs in order to survive, which I guess is something unavoidable, or, falls into the category of “do what you gotta do” in order to survive. That said, in most cases, it’s just the desire for more money. As for Ferrari, we are not entirely sure why it needs an SUV, but it is working on one since 2018. Purportedly called ‘Purosangue’, this high-riding upcoming Ferrari has been spotted a few times disguised as a low-riding Levante.
The test mule has been spotted again, but this time it is sporting what appears to be a new exhaust system. Ferrari is tight-lipped about this new “thoroughbred”, obviously, but one thing we can be certain of is that it won’t be packing a V12, again, for obvious reasons. You can expect a V6 or a V8. And of course, a hybrid powertrain should also not come as a suprise.
