Audi India has commenced bookings for the all-electric e-tron GT and its RS sibling. Bookings can be made online for a deposit of INR 10,00,000. The e-tron GT prices in Germany start at EUR 101,600, which means the ex-showroom starting price in India will be over INR 1.6 crore as the car will be imported to India via the completely built-up (CBU) route.
The e-tron GT is Audi’s version of the Porsche Taycan. The regular GT offers up to 390 kW (530 metric hp) and 640 Nm (472 lb-ft), and a range of up to 487 km (302 mi), while the RS e-tron GT boasts 475 kW (646 metric hp) and 830 Nm (612 lb-ft), and a range of up to 472 km (293 mi). Interestingly, Porsche hasn’t yet officially launched the Taycan in India.
