Tata Motors has launched the Tiago NRG facelift, priced at INR 6,57,400 for the manual variant and INR 7,09,400 for the automatic. Both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. Billed as the “Urban Toughroader”, the Tiago NRG is all about rugged looks and posing as a tougher individual than a regular Tiago driver.
If you dig the idea, it gets you muscular front and rear bumpers with faux skid plate; plastic cladding on the side including the wheel arches; a tailgate applique; roof rails, piano black mirror caps, 181 mm ground clearance, and 15-inch steel wheels with stylish covers. Buyers can choose from four exterior colors: Foresta Green, Fire Red, Snow White and Cloudy Grey, all combined with a black roof.
The Charcoal Black-themed cabin is contrasted with body color-painted outer air vents. Other features include a piano black finisher on the dashboard, fabric seats with a special stitching, a 7-inch Harman infotainment, dual front airbags and more. Download the brochure here.
Powering the Tiago NRG facelift is a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Revotron petrol engine with 63 kW (86 metric hp) and 113 Nm (83 lb-ft) of torque. The engine can be paired with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT.
