Ford is adding two new colors—Eruption Green Metallic and Hot Pepper Red Metallic—to the 2022 Bronco color palette, available to order later this year. Apparently, the Eruption Green was demanded by enthusiasts and is a modern interpretation of the 1970s Mallard Green-painted Broncos.
Automotive enthusiasts, and especially Bronco fans, are passionate about colors and will be excited about Eruption Green. Paint has a wonderful way of evolving because of technology. Eruption Green is a contemporary color, but there’s a connection with Bronco heritage. Antimatter Blue, Lightning Blue Metallic and Rapid Red Metallic will be available until the end of the 2021 model year.
