Only for Europe.
Fiat has launched the 500 Yachting and 500X Yachting for European markets, with colors and materials inspired by the luxury yachts. More specifically, it’s a tribute to Yacht Club Capri. The two “Collector Editions” as Fiat likes to call them, are limited to 500 units each and will be available in Italy, France, Germany, Spain and Switzerland.
On the exterior, the 500X Yachting is finished in a gorgeous ‘Blu Venezia’ color, which is complemented tastefully by 18-inch alloy wheels with blue accents. Mirror caps and door handles in satin chrome add the necessary contrast. The front doors get Yacht Club Capri badging, while the front fenders feature the ‘Yachting’ branding. Also, notice the “beauty line” that runs around the entire car. Perhaps, the most important difference you’d notice is that the 500X gets an electric soft top (in blue, of course) for the first time.
The cabin feels luxurious and yachty with white leather upholstery, blue piping on the seats, wood on the dashboard and gear shift lever, ‘Yachting’ branded aluminium door sills, and a Yacht Club Capri badging on the centre console. The keyfob too is blue with Yachting branding.
No mechanical changes. In Italy for example, the 500X Yachting will offer a 120 hp 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol, a 150 hp 1.3L 4-cylinder turbo petrol, a 95 hp 1.3L 4-cylinder turbo diesel, and a 130 hp 1.6L 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine options.
The 500 Yachting (based on 500C) follows a similar formula. On the exterior, the car is finished in ‘Blu Dipinto di Blu’ color, contrasted by chrome mirror caps and door handles. The 16-inch wheels are also chromy. Of course, the soft top is in blue. The beauty line and the badges are all present here too.
Inside, the dashboard features a luxurious-looking nautical wood, complemented tastefully by ivory-tinted leather seats with dark blue piping. The centre console features a limited number plaque with Yacht Club Capri logo.
No mechanical changes here either. In Italy, the 500 Yachting is offered with a 70 hp 1.0L 3-cylinder petrol engine combined with a mild-hybrid system.
