The Lexus RX L has joined the luxury marque’s Black Line lineup for 2022, limited to 495 units in total (389 petrol and 106 petrol-electric hybrid). The RX 350L Black Line starts at US$ 52,030 while the RX 450hL Black Line starts at US$ 55,290.
As you might know already, the Black Line is all about visual enhancements. There are two options for the exterior paint: Cloudburst Gray and Eminent White Pearl, both complemented with 20-inch black wheels, black front grille, black lower part of the front bumper, and black mirror caps.
Inside, the Black Line touches include black open-pore wood inserts and contrast stitching on Black NuLuxe front seats. This stitching carries throughout the interior on the shift boot, steering wheel and the upper part of the dashboard. Black floor mats and cargo mat round off the package.
No mechanical changes, obviously. The RX 350L (FWD or AWD) is powered by a 216 kW (294 metric hp) 3.5L V6 petrol engine paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, while the RX 450hL (AWD) combines a 3.5L V6 petrol engine with two electric motors for a system output of 230 kW (313 metric hp). Transmission in the hybrid variant is an e-CVT.
