New York fashion label Aimé Leon Dore (ALD) founder Teddy Santis teamed up with Porsche one more time to restore a personal 911 Super Carrera and of course, to also sell co-branded merchandise such as T-shirts, hoodies, purses, caps and so on.
The 911 SC is finished in a classic Porsche color Olive, which is perfectly contrasted with Fuchs wheels with black spokes. The car also got Auxiliary lights on the bonnet and a roof rack for some added practicality.
For the cabin, Santis chose Persian carpets as floor mats and also for the lower part of the doors. The original Recaro seats were painstakingly restored by the supplier itself. All the materials — from the leather to the bouclé — were processed by hand.
The design of the vehicle and the creative direction for the project both come from my childhood on the Greek islands and the unique beauty of things that get better with age and wear in that environment. – Teddy Santis
The restored classic was showcased at ALD’s NYC flagship store (from 21 to 23 May) where the fans of both brands were able to admire the collaboration.
