Volkswagen has confirmed the new Polo GTI — based on the facelifted Polo that debuted last month. The official global debut will happen at the end of June 2021. In the meantime, we have a teaser to talk about.
Speaking of which, you can expect a sporty front bumper with a honeycomb pattern and honeycomb-shaped running lights; a sporty rear bumper with twin tailpipes; subtle red accents, and of course, sporty wheels. The new Polo GTI will also boast a sporty suspension tuning and a locking front differential.
As for the powertrain, a 2.0L TSI petrol engine is expected to be carried over from the outgoing model, paired with a 7-speed DSG.
