Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the CB500X compact adventure motorcycle in the country, priced at INR 6,87,386 (ex-showroom, Gurugram). The motorcycle will be available to order via Honda’s BigWing outlets across India.
Features of the motorcycle include full LED lighting, negative-display LCD dash, a tall windscreen, long-travel 41 mm front suspension, Pro-Link rear suspension with 9-stage spring preload adjustment, dual-channel ABS, and slipper clutch.
The motorcycle will be available in two color options – Grand Prix Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.
Powering the CB500X is a 471.03 cc parallel-twin engine that develops 35 kW (48 metric hp) at 8,500 rpm and 43.2 Nm (32 lb-ft) of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
