Triumph has launched the Tiger 850 Sport in India, priced at INR 11,95,000, ex-showroom, Pan India. The Tiger 850 Sport slots below the Tiger 900 in the company’s Adventure range of motorcycles.
Features include all-LED lighting; adjustable windscreen; 5-inch TFT instrument display; Road and Rain riding modes; Marzocchi upside-down fork with preload adjustment; Slip & Assist clutch; Brembo Stylema calipers gripping 320 mm discs at the front; ABS and Switchable Traction Control.
Powering the Tiger 850 Sport is an 888 cc liquid-cooled in-line 3-cylinder engine that develops 62.5 kW (85 metric hp) at 8,500 rpm and 82 Nm (60.5 lb-ft) of torque at 6,500 rpm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
